I personally do not see how a stay at home Mom could not keep busy! I am not a stay at home Mom and always on the go whether it is home or running errands! Especially if you have school age children. You can volunteer at the school to be more involved and aware of what is going on. You can volunteer some free time at homeless shelters during the day, help the elderly in your community or church. There is an endless list!

I personally have no problem staying busy, as I have 3 kids, 2 dogs, a cat, 60 or so chickens, 6 rabbits AND a husband. Its much harder for me to feel accomplished. Im finding that reading blogs and writing a little bit of my own has helped. I am seeing ALOT of other Moms out there feel the same way, and having the chance to vent helps tons. I live pretty far out in a rural place, no parks, no chance of playdates, its not easy for me to meet "real live" people. So, next best thing....being here at hubpages. :)
