I would still say Davao in Mindanao. It is a beautiful city and it is generally a peaceful place. The Sulu archipelago is actually hours away from Davao. I've lived in Davao for 3 years and I have a good life in that place.

Depends on what you like. If you like the beaches, Caramoan is really beautiful (Survivor Turkey and France). If you like going to the mountains and caves then it has to be Sagada. If you like shopping and entertainment, head to Manila. One thing is for sure, though, anywhere you go you'll have a good time and most certainly good food! :)
