If you slip are you strong enough to climb back on the wagon during the holidays?

I imagine that the holidays must be extremely hard for anyone with a drinking problem. Hopefully family is near by to help them with their struggles and keep them on the wagon throughout the season.

It is easier to stay on the wagon. If you slip, forgive yourself, then climb back on. Beating yourself up will only lead you to fall further away. Take one moment at a time.

Namaste.

At first when I read your question, I thought you were talking about drugs and alcohol, but then I thought about how it relates to me and I realized that it could mean food. If I slip and overeat this holiday season, I do think I'm strong enough to get back on the wagon. I've done it before, but that doesn't mean I should make it a habit.
