Your question is thought-provoking, although discrimination has permeated around the globe, following the onset of slave trade centuries ago.

First of all, what triggers discrimination? Why is it prevalent throughout the world, despite the differences between ethnicities, cultures, and religions ? Discrimination is often followed by grandiose racial superiority, territorial subjugation, and the derogatory perspective on other races. Hitler's brutal persecution and carnage of the Jews wasn't a surprise to me, because he perceived the " great germanic" as the most superior of all ethnicities in the world. That's the ethnocentrism.

Why do people discriminate against African descendants, regardless of African Americans or Africans? Again, it's that stereotypical deroagatory view on other ethnicities. Throughout history, Africans never managed to emulate or defeat any other countries, so that they are often perceived as vulnerable and thus, subservient.

The world is not fair, and I just can't stop asking myself, why is it that discrimination still pervades the modern civilized world? I can't get it. I think, gradually if people rid of their ethnocentrism, and the assumption of their ingroup being supreme, then may be, there is a hope that one day, discrimination will vanish. \
