My male cat howls like Brian Setzer every night and keeps me awake! What do I do?

is it an older cat? What breed?? Burmese, Siamese - are big howlers. Also your cat may be getting up in years, could be slightly senile. Meow back at him see what he does. Mine also howls at times at night for no apparent reason. I suspect boredom.
