2 Equals 1

And they two shall be one flesh: so then they are no more two, but one flesh.

— Mark 10:8

As I sit at this computer comprising a book that hopefully will be published soon I am thinking about a lovely smile and the beauty of the woman that drove away earlier to her job as a school teacher. A bit of jealousy enters my brain for the children that are spending time with the adorable butterfly that I wed. I miss her and wish she was here on my lap instead of at the school down the road.

The children do need her though. God has blessed my beautiful Maggie with a talent of teaching and the children are very blessed. I pray they always recognize that.

I look out at the nature surrounding the habitat where we live. Twos are everywhere if you look.

I grab the camera and go out to enlighten all of you with some twos.

I have come to a realization that two are better than one. The picture above explains one and the Bible tells us why.

I am a blessed man because like the picture below, when I am down, Maggie holds me up. I hope and pray I do the same for her.

Bear you one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

— Galatians 6:2

I recently found that being apart from my lovely wife for even just a short time is very depressing. We have become one with each other.

I see marriage being stomped on in so many ways. It seems people marry and divorce as if marriage is nothing but "just a thing".

Mankind really needs to take a deeper look at the promises made when they say "I do".

If you really take a hard look at God's creations, twos are everywhere. I look at the vegetation planted to gain fruits and vegetables and in most cases, you need a male and a female to gain a harvest.

I am remembering those wonderful vows that Maggie and I said to each other that beautiful day on a rock in the ocean and I ask God to keep us strong and to allow us to be an example to people everywhere of why two equals one.

Have you hugged your spouse today and told them how much you care and love them?

Marriage is not a business with two people who can just sell out and go separate ways; it is a promise before God that must be held in high regards.

My dear, my love; I am blessed to have you. So blessed. I pray that God will always guide and lead us. With His Spirit upon us and our love between us, nothing, absolutely nothing, can come against us!

Well, back to writing this book and I will long for your wonderful embrace when you get home. Oh, and I'll buy the coffee and donuts today my love. Lets see; dos expresso y dos donas; chocolate con strawberry lleno.

I love you Maggie.

May all marriages be grounded in God.

May twos all become ones with love the only focus. With Love Jesus defeated death and with Love God wins.

It only makes good sense that with love, we will win!
