A Reason To Smile: Ian
My Amazing Husband!!!
This great idea popped into my head recently. The idea is to celebrate the people in my life that I love by creating a series of Hubs, specifically dedicated to honoring them. It may be a fond memory, a short story, a poem, or just a note. Please note that the chronological order of publication is not a reflection of how meaningful the relationship is to me. Whether the Hub dedicated to you is number one or twenty three, I love you just the same.
Simple Things I Appreciate About You
Today I thought about you as I awoke and a smile lit up my face. You are my best friend, my husband, my partner, my love, and so much more. Your kindness towards me is overwhelming and your patience is undeserved. Your gentleness shows your strength and your passion reveals your heart. I know that you will always love me, no matter what hardships come our way. I know you will always be for me and support me with unwavering confidence. Your laugh brightens my day, each day. Even when you don't feel well, you find a reason for simple joy. You are full of grace and truth and I know your character is rooted in love. Your mind amazes me--such brilliance you do contain. Your understanding goes beyond mere knowledge, for your wisdom is revelation you've pursued and gained. You are as a King to me--worthy of being honored each and every day. Thank you for showing me how to slow down and rest. Thank you for every dish you've washed. Thank you for the hours and hours each week you work to make a home for us. Thank you for helping my mom in the garden and climbing on Mimi's roof to clean gutters on your day off. Thank you for the many ways you show your love by the way you live your life each day. There is so much more I could write and I'm sure I'll be back to say more--but for now I'll go to bed, so I can wake up tomorrow with another smile on my face for you. I love you!!!
