Flowers Just Because

So delicate, yet so beautiful

No words needed !!
No words needed !!
As bright as a summers day.
As bright as a summers day.

No special reason

Could you just once bring me flowers "just because" , not because we've had a fight and its to make up, not because it's my birthday, our anniversary, or any other special day, but just because.

I love fresh flowers. I always have. But I have found that very rarely does a person get flowers "just because". Don't send me flowers when I am in the hospital, I'm usually too sick to enjoy them. Don't wait until I die, my eyes are closed, I can't see them or smell their sweet fragrance.

Flowers are special, one of God's most beautiful expressions. Colorful, bright, cheery, and best of all they can be found free. You don't have to have money. Pick a bunch of wild flowers, a handful of daisies, or even dandelions.

My point is this, don't wait until someones gone and then wish you had given this special gift. It can bring a smile to the face of a person grounded by depression, saddened by a loss or just to someone having a bad day.

Flowers sent "just because" show love, thought, consideration, and most important appreciation if received unexpectedly. Don't wait until Mothers Day, Valentines day, or Christmas to share these beautiful works of art.

What I'm trying to say is give them "just because " , it makes them much more special, and who knows, you might get lucky. Anyway it could only make a relationship more special when she or he knows you were thinking of them.

After all when it is unexpected theres no need to say more... No words needed.

Hi Chris,

I also love flowers and like growing them in the yard where they can be seen from our windows. "Just because" is a better reason than most to have fresh flowers given to one as a gift.

My dear mother just recently died and I asked people to donate to her favorite animal charity instead of sending flowers. Much more good will come of it and I like the fact of her memory being honored in that way.

We still have blooming poinsettia plants in the house left over from this past Christmas. Despite recent freezes outside, our camellias are in bloom and I have picked them in the past and floated them in a bowl of water.

Hope you get more flowers just because!

Tammy,

Once again thanks for reading. I love flowers and walking home from school my son will stop and pick me a flower or a stray rose hanging over a fence. They mean the world to me and I press them in my journal. I hope you are doing well..

Warmest regards, chris

My daughter always picks wild chive flowers for me. They seem to bloom all year long. Nice story.

Sincerely, Tammy
