Get rich on Love Pt.2

God’s Vision

When God created the earth, he appointed man as steward of all His creation. He had labored for six days and rested on the seventh day.

God had a vision for the earth. The vision was that he wanted man to take dominion over the earth and rule as god. He therefore gave man license to operate upon the earth and in the heavens as well.

God gave man complete authority over the earth realm. He gave authority over the sun, moon and even the stars, to use them for promoting good upon the earth.

God did not name one thing upon the earth but brought them all to the man and he named them and God approved every name.

In this, God gave man the ability to decree and declare and it pleased God.

Even after the fall of man, God still honored his righteous servant’s stewardship and his ability to use words to name the things he desired in his atmosphere.

For instance,

1. Joshua stop the sun to extend the day that he may consume his enemies;

2. Elijah shut the heavens up so that there was no rain but at the word of the prophet;

3. Moses held out his rod and the Red sea was parted and the water congealed

4. Joshua led the people of Israel across the Jordan and not one of their feet got wet.

For six days God created, yet the word “love” was nowhere used grammatically to define the relationship between God and man. Even though the word "love" was not mentioned yet it was being demonstrated.

God was demonstrating to man that,

  • to love is quality service
  • love”, even though the word is not mentioned, is implied by action
  • the practice of love was more than emotion
  • love is your responsibility
  • love is a matter of obedience

The Giving of Love has to be Pure

In other words, how can you say you love your brother when the covenant between you and he is broken?

You have never encouraged him in word or deed so there is no purity in the relationship.

For there to be purity in love there need to be a sacrifice.

Unless there is a “sacrificial altar” it is not the God kind of love.

How can you say that you love me yet you have not lift a finger to help me your brother whom you see daily?

God says, Go and begin again and do some service for your brother first!

Create a covenant and offer a sacrifice within your own home first; continue to,

a. pray

b. Speak over his life

c. Not against him

e. Be happy for his success

Let’s briefly look at 1Cor.13:4 the Lord’s solution for the love issue;

4Charity (love) suffereth long, and is kind (tender, compassionate);

charity envieth not; (not anxious for or against any)

charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, (boasting, bragging) It is God that have blessed you for you are not your own)

5 Doth not behave itself unseemly,

seeketh not her own –( having own agenda)

is not easily provoked,

thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 Beareth all things, (1Pet.2:24 Who his own self bare our sins upon his shoulder .. covering for thy brother, leader)

believeth all things,( things that are good report, believe the best of every person, will credit no evil of any, positive evidence; gladly receives whatever may tend to the advantage of any person whose character may have evidenced detraction; or even justly, because of his misconduct”.)

hopeth all things, (to wait for the salvation of the Lord with joy and full confidence. Hoping in the promises of God – Rom.4:18,

Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.”

In hoping all things God is going to desire that you call some things "as be not as though they were”.

Look at 1John 3:3

endureth all things.- From Grk. Word meno, means to stand, abide, remain and continue.

This goes to show that neither trials, nor adversities, persecutions nor provocations can prevent true love or agape love from operating in a prescribed location and that the whole New Testament duty of man is to “get rich on love”.
