Give me hope

The fire still burns

Holding on

You know I said I love you

Now and forever, till death do us part

But you hurt me all through

Waged war with words and trampled my heart

What we had back then

May not have been the fairytale

Can we find it again

Freshen that feeling gone stale

I can't forget, but I will forgive

Do you want me still

Thumbs down to die or up to live

It rest with your will

So give me a sign, give me hope

I'm looking for a revival

I'm at the detour and on the slope

Searching for our love's survival

Love sign

So much rides on forgiveness, I don't want to be just a tinkling cymbal.
