Happy Birthday Poems

  • Yesterday, today, tomorrow, and forever;
    However, whatever, whenever, or wherever;
    Our blessings were and will always be with you, dear.
    Happy birthday, Son.
  • Our little bunny was once a toddler.
    He made our heart grow fonder.
    Our little toddler became a young boy,
    Crawling no more, not any more coy.
    Our young boy then went on to be
    A cool teen, wild and free.
    Today that cool teen has become a man;
    On the brink of adulthood he stands.
    I'd like to share heartfelt thoughts so true
    When wishing a happy birthday to you.
  • One more year in your life:
    One more year of challenges, opportunities, and strife.
    One more year in your life:
    One more year of happiness and success rife.
    One more year in your life:
    One more year we feel complete as parents, husband and wife.
    One more year in your life: Happy birthday, Son.
  • Your dreams may not come true all the time,
    Your songs may not always be in rhyme,
    Your love may not always be returned,
    Your bitter past may not always be burnt,
    You may not be able to hear sweet music everywhere,
    Life may or may not always treat you fair,
    Nevertheless with confidence, your life you must play.
    We bless you, love you, and wish you a happy birthday.
  • May the best of blessings reach you,
    May failures hit you very few,
    May your dreams and hopes never fade,
    May your life get beautifully made,
    May you have the best of luck in this year new;
    Wishing a happy birthday to you.

  • You are finally welcoming a new life stage,
    In which many wars you may have to wage.
    We wish you all the best now and pray
    That you have a wonderful birthday.
  • Spread your wings as wide as you can.
    Take up challenges and live them up like a man.
    Even if life pits you against failure or stress,
    Don't succumb to it, don't regress.
    Remember that you came into this world
    With a lofty purpose, so let it unfurl.
    I hope you are on the top of every game you play
    And wish you a very happy birthday.
  • You are the reason we live,
    You are the reason we give,
    You are the reason we shine,
    You are the reason we don't whine,
    You are the reason we shout with joy,
    You are our loving boy,
    The reason we smile and enjoy.
    You are the reason we cheer;
    We are so glad you are here.
    As you grow a year older, let me say:
    May you have a smashing birthday.
  • If you have a desire,
    May God fulfill it.
    If you have a wish,
    May God let you live it.
    If you want success,
    May you have the guts to get it.
    If you get knocked down by failure,
    May you never fret about it.
    If you want the world,
    May opportunities towards you hurl.
    Happy Birthday, Son.
  • We can't imagine our lives without you.
    Our time spent with you so easily flew.
    Holding memories close to our hearts,
    Today may you have a wonderful new start.
    Happy Birthday, Son.

Very nice and sweet, very poetic! I would have wish to receive such wishes from my parents! It's a great idea to have a collection of those wishes because not everybody can write something kind easily!

I want to let you know that your top picture doesn't show.

Voted up, useful and beautiful!

Your messages and poems are so lovely, funny, and useful. Another idea: One year I wrote a book (about 12 pages or so) using Word and clip art for my son. It was called "Sunday's Child." It basically had 2 to 4 lines on each page describing my son from birth to young adulthood. He was so moved after he read it, he cried. It was such a simple thing; it took me about a month to finish. I tried to get the words and pictures just right. It was basically like a children's book. Anyway, it's just a thought.

Thank you for providing all of us with this wonderful inspiration.
