I Look Into The Mirror And Dream

When the day begins I look into your eyes and I see someone so special

You are there for me before I even notice

You are watching my every move and thinking

How could this be

I move to the left and you are there

I move to the right you are in plain sight

I bend over and you have the jump on me

How do you know where I am going to be before I decide to go

My mind is still thinking

My heart is beating with great emotion

I feel when you are near

I often get excited for no reason

I feel genuinely loved

I can look in a distance

I now know why I feel this way

You are me

You are my twin

I am so blessed

To be the same as you but different

We take different paths in life

We also have the same wonderful insight

We know the feeling

We show the feelings

What it is to be not one of a kind

But two of a kind

Where ever I go

You might be there before me

What ever you enjoy I may have done it first

We look the same

We can dress the same

We can have the time of our lives

Sharing a uniqueness others can't understand

Hopefully as we grow old

We will understand more of each other

The things we love today only become better

The dreams we both want may be different

The outcome may be the same

For we are instantly friends

We are bonded by a connection that was started long time ago

One that makes us gifted

One that sees into each others soul

I not only enjoy who I am

But who I see in front of me

I first thought I could be looking into the mirror

Then I realized it was my twin

One that loves me for everything I am

One that can understand the magic

Of life in each others sights

So as I leave here for now

I will be back here again

Not only as one but two

Because as you know

I am so happy to be a twin
