Love Is All There Is - Love Knows No Boundaries.

Which of these loving couples does not have the right to love? Will YOU be the one to judge them?

Love is all there is

Love knows no boundaries.

Love is the answer to all worldly woes.

Love is the most important of all human emotions.

When we judge the love of others, we are really judging ourselves.

Who has the legal, or moral, right to chose who someone else will love?

Absolutely no one.

A voice in the night.

Last night i woke up at 3:20am to a voice in my bedroom saying over and over: "Love has no boundaries".

I live alone with two dogs, and as far as i can ascertain, neither one of them has yet learned to speak.

I got up and wrote those words down on a piece of paper and left it on the table next to my pad and pens, where i write my hub articles.

I could not quite get a grip on the point of this event.

It was still on my mind when i awakened in the morning and i could not get past the voice in the night.

It lingered with me throughout the day, and while i was watering my garden, and doing some pruning, while my dogs ran around the yard doing their personal business i came to a conclusion.

A revelation

After finishing the current article i had been working on, and publishing it on hub pages, i decided to view some hubs written by other authors.

This is when i came across a tribute by 'Silent Whisperer' that he wrote for his teacher that had recently passed away on Easter Sunday.

I knew then what i had to write this article about:

the state of love and its significance to mankind.

There are many kinds of love that we experience, to varying degrees, as we pass through this time and space on this planet.

The significance of this is all so clear to me now.

Love is the essence of all that there is that has any true meaning in this life; and after we move on from it.

A life without love is a wasted one.

Wasting precious time

A life that is ruled by hatred is a total waste of precious time and will be a life that has served absolutely no purpose for the person living that life of hatred.

But, with that being said, the real truth of that statement is that; if this life is by design, then it must not be viewed, or judged, as a life wasted by the person who passes through his life carrying the hatred.

We have to study that life which is totally filled with, and consumed by, that hatred, and see how distasteful it really is to our minds and our souls, so that we do not ever allow hatred to enter us.

Designer lives

Unless, by design, that hate filled life was a "chosen one" with a real purpose: not for the one living it, but for the person he/she directs that hatred towards.

It is called Cosmic Karma. If the person living a life of hatred fulfills their life's purpose, and then finds peace and harmony, then this was meant to be a lesson only for the person whose life was affected by that hatred.

According to the words of S.W.'s teacher, many of us are here on this earth serving in this "Karmic Prison" for mistakes made in previous lives.

To bear this hatred of others, and survive with forgiveness and love still intact in one's heart, the Karmic sins of past life (or lives) can be overcome and forgiven. The soul, or spirit, can then move on to the next plane of existence as it was meant to do in the grand scheme of things.

The Essence of Mankind

Love is the essence of all there is, on this earth, and beyond.

We are extremely fortunate if we are able to find love in all aspects of life. To respect that love is truly a gift that can be a "learning" experience.

We love our parents first in this life; then friends; siblings and spouses.

We love our pets, our personal lives, our possessions that merit a place in our hearts because they may remind us of something, or someone, that gave us pleasure and unselfish love, if only for a short period of time.

We are what we are

We are the products of what we are taught to be.

I have learned through my long life experiences that we are 'lied to' for selfish and ungodly reasons by the people that we should be able to trust with their teachings of truth.

I speak a lot about the evils of organized religions, as they are NOT demonstrative of love at all. They preach anything but love in order to control lives, make money and impart fear and yes, hatred into their unsuspecting followers. We have to learn on our own that:

  • Love has no boundaries.
  • Love is love, pure and simple.
  • Love is all that there is.
  • God is pure love.
  • There are no 'deviations' of love.

There may be variations in severity, and intensity, but NO deviations can be put on the power of love we feel toward others and even toward ourselves.

One cannot pervert what love really is when it is all that matters in God's creation.

It is the only thing worth carrying with us through our life times, and especially when we leave this planet.

Love between two people is the purest of spiritual connections, and the exact same love that 'everyone' feels. It is not limited to one individual, their families, their communities, their religions, or their genders.

Love as love, is the love of mother for child, child for parents, man for wife, wife for man, friend for friend, and yes, even same sex love, and all are exactly the same intensity and quality as all the others who experience it.

There is no error in love - no matter who it is felt towards. The 'error" is in the hearts of those who judge unjustly, without reason or logic, the quality of another person's experience of love.

No one has the right to judge others

No man, or religion

can negate love in any form.

No-one has the moral right to judge another for who they love.

No one has the right to mandate any love as immoral, illegal, or lesser than their own, if they are indeed capable of love at all.

No one person, or religion, or government, holds the monopoly on love.

Love cannot be dictated, mandated or controlled by anyone, or anything, except by the creator of love itself.

Those who feel, and are capable of understanding the complexities, depths, and pleasures of love, can never pass judgement on another for their love experiences. If they misguidedly attempt to do so, it is done out of ignorance or jealousy.

Ignorance is the worst sin of mankind; and arrogance is in second place.

Although educated people can still be arrogant (suffer with exaggerated self worth); ignorance (destitute of education, or comprehension) is truly despicable for there is no excuse for it, whatsoever. Following anyone, or anything, blindly without rationalization is inexcusable. This is ignorance at its best, or at its very worst.

When ignorance is the basis for hatred and bigotry, and actually interferes with another person's personal journey through life, it is shamefully sinful and against Karmic Law.

Blind unquestioned faith in any religion's rhetoric is a perfect example of this phenomenon and totally ignominious (deserving of shame, disgrace, and disgust).

''Some people come into our lives for a reason; if only for a day, a lifetime, or a season''.

There is no Karmic reward for blanket hatred (religious teachings). But there is reward for blanket love and forgiveness, and freely allowing that love to permeate our minds, our lives, and our souls.

This is the true path to peace on this earth. Hatred, by its very nature, destroys all in its path, including the host body.

Love is all that there is.

Love truly knows no boundaries. So live and let live. Love and let love. You will be all the better for it.

I hope you don't mind my crtic below,it's all ment to taken in the spirit of love after all.

I got the impression that you ment sex is love.I think you know it's not.love by itself but rather an expression of love - for most people - most of the time -I would think.and realization rather than rationalization.

Old poolman

I think your mistaken if you think everyone who believe's in conspiracy theories are hateful

Some people are not willing to believe in them because they are afraid they may be the truth.Besides, you don't have to be hateful even if they are true..

History is a witness to so many conspiracies it's hard not to find one somewhere in the past and in the future as well.I suspect

voted up!

Thanks for the thumbs up. I am, however, at a loss as to exactly what "someonewhoknows" above is referring to. It certainly was not this particular article? Odd.

http://hubpages.com/profile/someonewhoknows.

Thanks for reading and commenting, but i am at a loss, as i said to OPM above? Your comments cannot be directed at this particular hub, as there is absolutely no chance that any of it could possibly be related to sex versus love? Care to explain?

someonewhoknows profile image

Wasn't refering to sex vs love

Was refering to some people who may think of sex as love or sexual attraction as love.

Still an odd comment for this article. This has nothing to do with sex? Where is your mind?

And was your comment to oldpoolman also related to this article? There is not even a hint of conspiracy in this article?

You missed the part about the ignorance of people. Those things you quote are superfluous to the article, and taken out of context, to mean something more than they were meant to. I am sorry for your lack of understanding of the meaning of this article. But your comments are just more proof to me that there is something lacking in our society. The point of view of the narrow mindedness, and biased opinions of an ignorant society are certainly not wasted on you or your lack of knowledge. Yours is not a comment based on anything but your own opinions of life in general. I feel sorry for you, and your obviously hateful attitude toward things you cannot possibly understand. You are entitled to your opinions, and this will be the last i will address them on this hub. It is detracting from the true intent of the article, and very demeaning to the understanding of love, and your obvious lack of it.

http://hubpages.com/profile/Old+Poolman.

thanks again for your comments. It is clear to me that you do possess the intelligence and understanding that it takes to comprehend the true meaning of this hub. There is nothing sinister, controversial, or conspiratorial about this article. It is based on the concept of love being the ultimate truth of God and what should be the ruling factor in our world today. Thanks for your support. dw

Bravo! This article is exactly how I feel about the world today. To many people, their ignorance is bliss. What they don't know will never cause them any harm, but they can certainly dish out the hatred when they come in contact with something they don't know or understand. As a woman who is in a same sex relationship, I fight every day against the ignorance of our society and the fact that some people would rather be hateful and dishonorable, than to just accept me or my partner for what we are... in love. I truly believe that one day the laws of this country (the US) will be changed so that we can all be equal, after all that is what this country was founded for, if I am correct.

Thanks again for your great HUB and Love!

Voted up for sure!

d.william - it doesn't matter what anyone's opinion of this hub may be. What I took away from this hub is that you my friend are one of the lucky few left in this world who truly understand the meaning of the word "love". Unfortunately, most of the world has forgotten the meaning or so it seems.

Thanks O.P. I think that this knowledge belongs only to those of us old enough to understand the true meaning of it. This younger generation has not yet learned that love is truly what makes the world go around, not money, greed or hatefulness.

Now I know what you meant by your comment on my article about my teacher. Wow!What a dream, to leave you with such a powerful message. I heard Sai Baba telling a group of about 60,000 people that if they just remembered and acted upon one thing in all the teachings of all the the wise and holy then it would be "Love all, serve all." If you can do that without question, he said then we will have attained enlightenment. Your hub is a message of love that we all need to hear and from the comments I can see that your words have touched people profoundly. I love the way you you refuse to beat about the bush and the way you single mindedly say your piece without ambiguity. I love the way you do not seek approval nor are you phased by criticism. This for me is the mark of a truly honourable man. It is my privilege to follow you and I thank you for mentioning me in your hub. Here is a small gift to brighten up your already glowing day:

I still do not understand the comments made by 'someonewhoknows' above, and it bothered me that someone might find something distasteful about an article on love? There are some strange people around us all the time.

With YOUR approval, his comments have little or no meaning. And i thank you for that also. dw

The key to understanding the comment made by Someonewhoknows lies in the name. Knowing is simply that and that person is like an aeroplane flying with one wing. Knowing is all important in such a person's life. Love is not something you know...it is something you feel. So when you wrote this article the knowledgeable ones will have difficulty getting their heads around this because it is not a matter for the head but the heart. That person is reeling from your comments and has not one clue what you are talking about but at least that person read your article so there is hope that something may have seeped in.

You know after reading the comment about sex, i was confused, so i went back and reread the portion referred to. When you mentioned same sex love, you were referring to two people of the same sex, ie Man, man, Woman, woman. You did not mention the sex act, you were talking about the feeling of love. Why are some so quick to try to make something loving into something dirty in their mind? Love is the key that unlocks hatred. Just think, if everyone loved instead of hating, there would be no wars, because when there is love it's impossible to hate. Thank you for this hub.

Without love we are nothing............ Beautiful hub.

could do with printing it out and attaching it to every church door.

Not all the people who attend church are without love and kindness, but the ones tha have and give love, sure donĀ“t get it from the example of the clergy.

This is such a thought provoking hub.One of your readers equating love with sex or the commerically produce hollywood version show the ambivalency and cynicism most associate with the word "love".We relate "love" to the group of people we belong to. This have cause much division and hatred.Organize religion have also been guilty of using the "thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself" to impose their fears and prejudice on others, clothing hatred with the mantle of love. Some like to pretend to themselves that they are showing love when what they are really displaying is possessiveness, jealousy and power over others. Perhaps it is only saints and the enlightened ones who truly understand the word "love"

love is free of fear and most love in the world cannot be put into the straigh jacket on nomenclature.we like to give names to love sicne we want to make it simple and easy to understand but not all love can have a name. IT is just there!!!

also sex as a aprt of love is amazing and probably the best sex there ever could be so where is the dichotomy?

SilentReed profile image

@neeleshkulkarni ~ Coming from the land that gave us the Kama Sutra where love and sex are so closely entwined and sexual pleasure can attain a form of spiritual fulfillment I can understand the question "So where is the dichotomy?" :)

Sorry to lump all you comments together, but i have been away from the computer for a couple of days, so have to make up for lost time.

http://www.hubpages.com/profile/Silent+Whisperer.

I can always count on you to make my day.

http://www.hubpages.com/profile/always+exploring.

It kind of surprised me that anyone could interpret the meaning of the love between two people as strictly physical. I guess i will never understand the way some people think. Perhaps if one has never experienced the joys of 'love' itself, they only can equate the word love with 'sex'. Sort of makes you feel sorry for those folks who do not know what they are missing.

http://www.hubpages.com/profile/Dim+Flaxenwick.

Loved you comments. They are so true. People think that because they attend church they have the blessings of knowing what love really is. This is hard for me to understand, when most of the time the preacher is preaching about sin and hatred, and trying their best to instill guilt into the minds of their clergy.

http://www.hubpages.com/profile/Silent+Reed.

Thank you for your comments and profound observations.

http://hubpages.com/profile/neeleshkulkarni.

Thanks for you comments. There is a dichotomy (a real distinction) between love and sex. You can have love for something, or someone, without having sex with them, or you can have sex with someone without loving them. But, what i think you might be saying is that there is really a greater, more profound, connection between two people when they share love AND sexual activity together. This is, of course, a much different level of 'love' than one would experience with their children, relatives or platonic friends. Love is God's manifestation and no man has any right to judge the love that others have, toward anyone they choose. It is why we are all here - because of it - to share it - and to spread it.

http://hubpages.com/profile/kashmir56.

Thanks for reading and commenting. And yes it is true for all aspects of life that "love is all you need". It sure beats violence, wars, and hating.

A funny thing happened to me today, I was listening to the Beatles and later read this beautiful Story. What a great combination that made. I somehow missed your comments so many months ago. I apologize for this oversight. Thank you so much for your kind words. And to update and add to this belief that love is love and should never be judged by others (between consenting adults of course) it has been legally verified by the Supreme court ruling that same sex marriages are to be recognized in this great country as equal rights.

It saddens me though that some (so called 'conservative') states are passing laws that allow discrimination against same sex couples based on their religious beliefs.

This is the lamest and vilest excuse for spewing hatred and discrimination and the lowest form of religious abuse i have seen to date.
