Royal Wedding - Kate & William
My Views from Kate and William's Wedding
You are either a fan of the Royal wedding or you aren't. There is no gray area for this occasion. I thought it was amazing. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge truly know how to throw a wedding!
The celebration was beyond my expectations, I could only imagine how exciting it must have been for their nineteen hundred guests and one million onlookers.
The Perfect Prince
Kate looked absolutely stunning in her gown, like a true princess. The way she carried herself looked like she'd been practicing for this day since infancy.
William exhibited his shyness and resembled a perfect prince.
One million people were there for the festivities and I'm sure it's a day they'll never forget. The fascinators were fascinating and I do plan on wearing one to my daughters wedding in 2 weeks, just toned down a bit. Maybe.

The Royal Kiss
The Royal Kiss was cute, but come on we all wanted more! I blinked the first time and missed it, luckily they kissed again but I almost missed that one too. They both don't like being the center of attention which is understandable but in my opinion I think they should have rocked that kiss a bit more. Five hundred thousand people were in attendance for the kiss, not to mention the millions who were watching from around the world. The moment was absolutely adorable nonetheless.
Wedding party on balcony of Buckingham Palace....I can't tell a lie. I was really hoping someone would have "accidentally" bumped into Camilla and she would have "accidentally" took a tumble. Come on now I know I'm not the only one who thought that. In my opinion she shouldn't have been there.
The newly wedded couple surprised us all.....How about that drive-by with the bride and groom in the Aston Martin sports car! They were absolute rock stars!!! Royalty just doesn't do those type of things but they did and it was outstanding! I applauded them.
Together William and Kate will change how the monarchy views everyday life and make it more exciting for all. Who knows maybe one day the royal guards would be able to get down and boogie while on duty. Okay, that's kind of extreme but one never knows.

Princess Diana
The royal wedding to me means, "life goes on." I'm a bit of a royal family fanatic. Mostly, I have been a follower since Princess Diana. She was a woman of character and poise whom I admired very much. She would have treasured having Kate as her daughter-in-law, it's sad that will never happen.
I watched Diana's wedding from start to finish and I'm thankful I was able to watch her son as he married his princess. It was bittersweet that Diana wasn't there to witness the uniting of William and Kate but she was there in spirit. Her legacy lives on with her sons. She would have been one proud mama.
Thank you to the British folks for allowing us to be a part of their wonderful, memorable celebration. With all the sadness and tragedy going on in our society it was refreshing to escape from it all and rejoice with a happy event. I'm wishing Kate and William many years of wedded bliss. I hope they live happily ever after.
P.S. Good luck cleaning up the 140 tons of trash left behind! Cheerio!
Update: 12/3/12 Congratulations on your pregnancy! Wishing you a healthy and happy baby!
