Never Satisfied

Why is it that people are never satisfied? True satisfaction is something many of us will never obtain and with this knowledge many need to find contentment with their circumstances. Belly aching and complaining about your bills, your relationships and your jobs or whatever else is not going to mend the situations! Many of us love to complain about what is not going right in our lives instead of focusing on the good things about our life. My grandfather use to say that if you can't pay no other bill; make sure that your rent or mortgage is paid to keep a roof over your family's head. Once this has been accomplished you are in the safety of your own home to figure everything else out. This is very sound advice; but to the people of today who can't find satisfaction in the smallest of things; this is just another headache.

People get a grip! Stop sweating the things you can't do anything about. Appreciate the love of your family, the roof over your head and the new day you are blessed with. Be content in all situations. Thank God you are not homeless, for the health of you and your family; but most of all thank Him for another day to get it right. What happened to hope?! If you regret every new day that you are blessed with then why bother?

Life is not meant to be lived under stress. Find comfort in something. Read a Bible. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and consider someone else who may be facing tougher times than you are. Remember there was once a man whom complained about not having any shoes; until he ran upon a man whom had no feet.

We live in a world where the number of people that believe in God has greatly decreased and therefore; no hope or love is prevalent. Seek God promises and you will find peace, hope and yes charity for your fellow man. Stop being a selfish nation and consider your fellow man/woman. Help someone else and you will find that you have helped yourself. Be encouraged no matter what is going on in your life.

God Bless
