Our Love Divine
Though the vastness of my tears
And depth of ache that my heart bore,
If I had lived ten thousand years,
My soul could not have loved you more.
The richness of our love divine
Made roses blush and pale beside
The vision of your face near mine,
And all my world shone in your eyes.
If clouds could write across the sky
The message of my love's sweet chimes,
Then music always would you see,
For you are love's great melody.
My heart, my ache, my loss through time
Ever be yours by love's design.
For what life had it been indeed,
If there had not loved you and me?

To be in the midst of a tormented love affair is to run naked in an endless thunderstorm. It is to be so exposed at your core that you exist on the love alone.
