Some People Are Hollow
I Can See Through You Like A Window
You think you know someone until that day comes
When you don't see in the same light
You both take a stand and hold your ground
Who is Wrong?
Who is Right?
Other people will take sides
Only time will tell
Like a house of cards
Only the strongest house will survive
The simplest wind can bring you tumbling
Hours are spent
Making every card fit perfectly in position
The teedless task of putting your utmost precision to the test
Placing cards one on top of the others hoping and praying they will not fall
Stepping back and admiring your hard work and dedication to every microscopic detail
That distinguishes you from plain colors on the wall
Looking back and examining from every angle
A few relatives are blinded by there own insecurities and false premises
Some people come to watch
Friends and family take notice
Do they really know how much I HAVE SACRIFICED?
People will leave and my work of art stands alone and still
A one of its kind
Unique in many ways
Some people would say it was a waste of time
Others pass by without a look
There are a few who can marvel at all its effort and talent it took
My deck of cards stands taller than the rest
Who knows when the next breeze will come?
A victory for trying where no one else dared
Anything can make it crumble and plunge to the bottom
Where it will stay forever in its finally resting place
