Stumbling Into Love

As the kitten purred and ran it's slender body against her frail leg she kept talking to Lori. Lori saw the immense love the woman felt for her husband who was outside helping her husband with a construction problem that had developed. The two women had developed a friendship and talked about everything. Today's conversation was very deep; the woman told Lori that she wanted to die in her sleep. She said she knew her husband would live many years. "I want the very best for him", the woman stated. "I will make sure he gets the best; Jesus will help me help him, I know it, but our sons will not like it." Lori listened, allowing the woman to spill her heart. These two people had faced so many trials in the last few years Lori thought. The woman needed a friend that would just listen, but this talk of death? Yes, she was in bad health, but surely not on her deathbed. Lori continued to listen.

" How you holding up? Is the motel ok?" Tony asked him. "I'll be fine" as a tear streamed down the man's face. How he wasn't crying harder was a wonder; after all, their house and all their belongings had burned in a fire just 2 weeks prior. "The check came in and we are headed to the city." the man told Tony. Tony worried about the man and his wife. He hoped the man was making the best decision. "When is dialysis again?" Tony asked. The woman was on kidney dialysis and Tony prayed it would not be a problem for the man and woman to manage her kidneys. "Friday, in the new city one. She goes for 3 hours Friday" the man answered.

Lonliness And Pain

Another evening in this house that is empty. Mamí had told her it would be this way at some time in her life. Loneliness has swept into her life as her last child moved out just days before. Who shall she cook for; who can she love? She turns on her computer and fades into dreams of youth.

The little girl danced in her beautiful new dress through the forest. She saw the frog and dreamed of the story that was of the frog she, the princess, would find. She would hold and love the frog and it would magically evolve into her blue prince. He would be tall and he would hold her with strong hands and fill her heart with immense joy.

"What does this mean?" the woman looked at the computer screen. Before her eyes on the site she had joined months before was a person who had a frog avatar. His screen name on Stumble Upon is askthefrog. She felt a urging to move forward; to read the works this "frog" posted. She read of his pains, his misery. She read how his Grandson was killed, his wife died. She read of his love of God and his faith in Jesus Christ. She felt deep pain and hurt for this man. She befriended him.

Wasted

He stumbled in drunkenness throughout the empty trailer home. His daughter and grandson were out and this routine was becoming a regular "habit". He thought of her and fell weeping in a pile in the middle of the kitchen floor. His tears made a puddle upon the tile floor. She has been gone for several months. She would be angry with him for drinking so much, but this is all he had right now; this, the drinking, his computer and God. God just didn't seem to be listening so he turned to the bottle. The man fell on his knees and prayed for God to kill him. God, in his mercy, told the man to write. The man, aged beyond his years, wrote. The world wide internet was his medium. Tell the story, they will listen. Tell about Me, they will hear. That is what I do.

Stumbled Love

"I feel his presence, he is near me." She had known and trusted all these years that God would supply her "Blue Prince". She was now looking at the man behind the frog on Stumble Upon. She gazed in his eyes and love filled her heart for this man. She had read many of his works and felt a deep passion for he and his. The woman looked in her share toolbar and found askthefrog and asked him if this was really a picture of him. At that very moment, love was found. Nothing, absolutely nothing will keep this Frog from looking in the eyes of this beautiful woman. There are barriers and boundaries. The devil doesn't want the two of us together. You see, my new love, whom God blessed me with,we pray together and we have shared so much. We are of similar circumstances even though we are cultures apart.

Maggie and I very humbly request your prayers that our love can fruition. Who needs those dating sites? I found love on Stumble Upon. If you don't belong, you are missing out.

A Brief Note To My Love

Maggie, my dear;since meeting you, I have gained a new spark in life. You have brought a battle weary man back to life.

I want to be near you and hold you. It may take time, but we know God is in control. He also knows how I feel for you my dear, as you are in my prayers always.

I pray that the barriers thrown up by the devil will be broken down so that we can look each other in the eyes and rub our noses together with the purest of love. You, my Maria Magdalena deserve the "Blue Prince" you have been waiting for all your life and I , my lady, would be honored to have you as my Princess.

I am of the mind of a 16 year old with impatience and excitement. The day will be soon, very soon. I await the day I can hold you close and dance to our song. May our hearts desires come true.
