Unbreak My Heart
Saying this to yourself every night: This will be the last time...
Have you sometimes felt that you wanted to sleep the whole time? That you really need to force your eyelids to close because everything seems unperfect and wrong?
Those times when you wished your heart is numbed and doesn’t exist? And all you wanted is to sleep and escape reality for just a few hours.
What happened when you wake up? Will it changed or will it stay the same?
Sleeping can really help retain your sanity. It helps the brain to relax and rest for a while. And there’s nothing wrong when you sleep with a broken heart – oh wait, yes, when you wake up, it’s still broken. But it helps!
C’mon, you don’t need to pretend you’re okay when inside you’re bleeding. A lot of broken-hearted people roam around the planet and you can’t just identify them. You may know their name, but not their story.
And sometimes, one of those people has the worst situations you can ever imagine.
Signs of Heartbreak:
- Torn pictures
- Teary eyes
- Make-up smears
- Fake smiles
- Forced laugh
- Phone turned off
- Lights off and flashbacks
- T-swift songs on max volume
It turns out that your Romeo wasn’t Romeo at all but instead just another man who looks like him. You may get over the situation and it will all start within yourself.
It’s okay to stay on your bed eating fake foods and wondering why it turns out to be a tragic love story.
You just need to pick yourself up again and start moving forward. Give yourself a day or two to be with yourself, alone and figuring things out.
Soon, you’ll get better that what you’ve expected.
Love yourself. Maybe your true Romeo is just around the corner waiting to be noticed by you.
Just take a look around and open your heart and you’ll be amazed how beautiful life is.
Sometimes, you just have to stop walking the long path with that person not because of your sore feet, but because of feeling alone even when he's just at your side.
This is for Ami, a happy girl I used to know; but then love broke her smiles.
