Wedding Hairstyles and Updos
It's that time!
Most women dream of getting married when they are little kids. They try to imagine it all. They dream of the setting, their partner, the food, the flowers, their dress and even the weather. What women tend to forget about is their HAIR!
This is a time in a woman's life when she will be photographed more in one day than she will be in her entire life. So, what is a woman to do about her hair? From the weddings I have been to most brides get their hair done by a professional and put their complete trust in the hands of a stranger. And, let us not forget, even family and friends like to take a shot at becoming the "stylist" for a day. Here are some helpful tips to make sure you look the best on your wedding day.
Without further ado, I wish you all the best of luck in deciding what to do with your beautiful and precious hair. This is meant as a general resource and one stop guide to find the look your looking for. Good luck on one of the most important days of your lives!
Hot 2008 Wedding Updo Hairstyles
The variety of wedding hairstyles can be overwhelming. Do you desire an updo or to wear your hair down? Wear it curled or straight? Have it pulled elegantly back or wisping across your face?
An upswept hairdo, commonly nicknamed the "updo", is essentially the process of pinning the hair so that it is off the neck. This is one of the most popular wedding hairstyles chosen by brides today. The decision of which type of wedding updo you should choose involves many factors, including your hair type, current style, face shape and type of veil you have chosen. Designing a wedding updo takes planning. Armed with magazine photos of your preferred styles, and your veil in hand, choosing a wedding updo with your hairstylist will become a much easier task. Paul Mitchell Updos
Over 27 years ago, two friends had a vision - to found a company for hairdressers - one that would provide tools of success for hair care professionals and educators, their salons, and the entire beauty industry. It began in 1980, when John Paul DeJoria and Paul Mitchell first decided to launch their professional hair care system around a revolutionary new styling method. They established a partnership which eventually became known as John Paul Mitchell Systems. The two partners began marketing their products under the brand name Paul Mitchell, as Mr. Mitchell was the hairdresser of the two. Today, their vision has become a reality with John Paul Mitchell Systems growing into the largest privately held beauty company in the world.
John Paul Mitchell Systems is carried in approximately 90,000 salons in 73 countries around the world, including thousands of Signature Salons and Focus Salons in the United States and Canada. Paul Mitchell Focus Salons specialize in delivering expert advice and carry a higher level of inventory of John Paul Mitchell Systems products than most other salons.

Gwen has always been that wild chick. From No Doubt, her band, to raising her first child. She's always been on my "rocker" list.
Heidi has always confused me. She married stylist Ric Pipino in 1997 and they divorced in 2002. Next, she began seeing Formula-1 mogul (playboy) Flavio Briatore and became pregnant. After he was found cheating (surprising) she decided they should split. A year and a half later she marries Seal and has two boys with him. I guess I could never figure out why she didn't date anyone halfway decent looking???
Don't you remember when she was in "In Living Color" in 1990?. J-Lo is now the richest person of Latin American descent in Hollywood according to Forbes. Impressive.

Is there anyone out there that doesn't like Reese Witherspoon? What were you thinking Ryan Phillippe? Her comment regarding her former relationship "I think if anybody rests on the idea that they are perfect or their life is perfect or their relationship is perfect and is so troubled about destroying the facade as opposed to getting to what's real, that is troublesome." Have to respect that.
