Wedding Song Videos

Wedding planning is exciting yet stressful. The groom and bride to be have many decisions to make and endless tasks at hand.

These times can be stressful and cause petty arguments but I'm here to give you a helping hand.

The first dance is a very memorable moment. Selecting the perfect song can be difficult.

  • Do you choose the first song you ever heard as a couple?
  • Do you select what's popular now?
  • Do you request a song that nobody ever heard of?

Oh, decisions, decisions.

I've compiled some wedding songs that you might like. Or might not. Either way I hope you enjoy listening to them.

If you do decide to use one for your wonderful wedding day be sure and let me know. These songs could also be used for an anniversary party or to renew your vows.

I intentionally didn't separate these videos by genres. When it comes to music for weddings being diverse in tunes makes for one memorable celebration!

When the happy couple takes the dance floor all the guests will be swaying along to the music you select so make it a good one! Wishing y'all a Happily Ever After :)

This is definitely a chick Hub, and scary stuff for guys!

My wife and I were married outdoors in a Northern Arizona 'marriage chapel'. We returned to the scene of the crime last weekend, only to find that it had closed its doors and our 'sacred ground' was overgrown with weeds.

I asked my wife if that meant we were no longer married.

Women have no sense of humor.

Hi Will... Very funny and I bet your wife thought it was amusing also :)

Guys are 1/2 of the first dance and most want a say in the song ... dual purpose hub :) Thanks for stopping by and the humor!

"Guys are 1/2 of the first dance and most want a say in the song..."

That's because we are afraid our bride might choose a long one.

What a nice hub! My little sister had "I Cross My Heart" by George Strait. I wasn't able to be there, but her wedding was absolutely beautiful. They held it in a castle here in Maryland (I was in Colorado at the time) and her husband played guitar and sang a song to her. It was lovely, they both planned the music choices. Thirteen years later, and still in love. I did get to see the video soon after.

What a lovely hub. I'm still hoping to meet the one meant for me....

Thank you for the suggestion Erin, I added George Strait's video! That's a beautiful song!!! You're headed in the correct direction by saying "hoping" instead of "looking" because in my opinion "the one" happens when you least expect it :))

"you are my sunshine, my only sunshine!"

ooops! Sorry! I do have such an off-key voice!

Considering my "situation" (not pregnant!), my husband calls our wedding a "funeral" !!!

Boy! IF I could go back in time.....same man.....different wedding!

No 1st song for us, OR anyone for that matter. Anyone care for a piece of CAKE? sheeeesh!

Great hub! So sweet!!

Nice hub with an awesome collection of videos that fit nicely into this hub. I got married on the Hilton Head beach so we did not have the opportunity to have a first dance. But these gives some suggestions for my quickly growing up daughters. Voted up and awesome.

Great hub idea Sunshine ~ although I will admit I will never use this advice! Smiling here :) How about one on music for a funeral? Trying to be silly here, ya know. Just thought I'd say hi. Seriously though, great helpful idea for many.

My husband and I had a few different songs. At first we thought that we would use the song Destiny by Jim Brickman. I had never heard the song before, but I went along with it. He just heard it on the radio and said it reminded him of me. Then one day while we were driving this song popped on the radio. It was Finally Found Someone by Barba Streisand and Bryann Adams. It was as if they had watched us and wrote a song about it. It was perfect. That became the song that is our song officially - it was sang at the church and played at the reception. The other song was I Think I Love You by the Partridge Family. My husband sang it to me and that is how he told me he loved me the first time. He sang it again to me on our wedding day as our first dance.

Thanks for bringing to the front of my mind some happy memories!

Nice collection Linda: We had ' Everything I do, I do it for you' by Bryan Adams from the film Robin Hood. Just been to a Wedding tonight and the bride and groom danced to 'Wonderwall' by Oasis... strange but nice choice.. this is an awesome list- voted up and shared.

Yay, mine was on their. We actually had picked another song originally, but I was driving to one of my graduate classes one day when I was knee deep in wedding planning and on came Elvis Presley singing, "I Can't Help Falling in Love with You." Now I had heard that song many times before, but for some reason I heard that song that day and started to cry. The words really and truly got to me. I called Kevin up immediately and told him. Well he said, "I think you found our song" and the rest is history. Great list and have of course voted, shared and tweeted too :)

That's awesome Janine. You could never go wrong with Elvis! My song was Shania's. My daughter's was Keith Urban. My other daughter played Smokey for me :) Wonderful memories.

What a great find. Why is it that weddings alyaws have to be so traditional and straight forward? Why not have a little fun like these two? They look like they are really enjoying themselves. I think it gave me an idea if I ever get married. A good number of people at the reception joining in on the sequenced dance half way through. It might even look as bad (which of course would be good) as the ballroom dance sequence in A Knights Tale.Jerad Kaliher's last blog post..
