What His Taste In Music Says About Him

What Kind of Music Does Your Man Listen To?

Does your guy love country music, is he a serious opera fan, or is he constantly listening to the latest R&B hit? A guys taste in music can say a lot about who he is and what his intentions are.

His Type of Music

The R&B Fan- The R&B fan will sweep your off your feet easily and make you feel like you are the only girl in the world. He is often romantic with a bit of a bad boy tossed in, and he knows he is irresistible. Watch out for his intentions, he may be sweet and have you completely smitten, but if you are looking for a long term relationship you may want to keep an eye on what his intentions with you are. However, he may pleasantly surprise you.

The County Music Fan- Just because your man listens to country music doesn’t mean he is a rodeo star or drives a tractor. However, love for country music can say a lot about what type of guy he is. Usually guys who listen to country music are laid back and down to earth. When it comes to dating they can often be very romantic, but sometimes lazy. This guy knows how to get your attention, but watch out for his wild side. Many men who listen to country music like to party…. and party hard.

The Opera Fan- Men who listen to opera music are often very intellectual. They enjoy dating a woman who can hold her own in an educated conversation and will probably love to wine and dine you. They want to date a classy girl that they can show off. Watch out for his uptight personality. Often men who prefer classical music can be picky about things. They like things in order and often get stressed when things don’t go as planned.

The Rap Music Fan- This guy is and all around bad boy. If your love interest is listening to rap music non-stop he is probably not ready for a relationship. These guys like to party, and have a lot of fun, which often means dangerous for a girl's heart. Steer clear of this guy depending on what you are looking for. If a short term love affair or a one night stand is on your agenda, go for it. However, be careful if you want more from him.

The Rock and Roll fan- Contrary to popular belief most men who enjoy rock music tend to be introverts and slightly insecure. If your man enjoys rock and roll he may be a hard case to crack and he may take a little coaxing into the dating world. He likes quiet places that require less social interaction. He usually won’t make the first move, but once he opens up he can be a real sweetheart.

Pop- Guys who listen to pop are often immature and love to be the life of the party. This doesn’t mean that he won’t eventually grow up and put his relationship first, but for the time being he most likely needs a lot of attention and loves to be the life of the party. Be prepared to take a back seat to his need to feed his own ego.

Guys who love it all- Guys who will listen to almost any type of music are confident and know themselves well. Sometimes it may come across as though he doesn’t know what he likes, but on the contrary, he is mature enough to know who he is and open minded enough to like different styles. He is most likely well rounded and easy to get along with. If your guy likes all types of music, keep him, he’s a catch.

I'm a rock/glam metal fan and love 80's pop .. as such my collections will include songs from all kinds of genres but rock certainly stands out ...hmmmm I wonder what that says about me ...

I would never date anyone who loves Hip Hop or Rap. I'd rather have a box snakes! I can't stand that type of music!

I'm not gonna make your hub look bad or anything, but this hub is absolutely biased, and stereotypical. I'm sorry but music doesn't determine the kind of husband a man can be. For example, i know of many guys who like rap and hip hop and who are wonderful husbands and fathers. This article actually makes me a bit angry.

And by the way, you've got some grammar mistakes in your articles. For example "your guys type of music" is supposed to be "your guy's type of music". I'm not trying to hate or anything, i'm saying what i honestly think.

Thank you for the comment. I appreciate your honest feedback. You seem like an opera fan to me.
