William and Kate - a Prince weds a Commoner!!!
"What?!" Prince William is getting married?!!!
"Who's the lucky girl?!!!"
"KATE?!!! Who is this girl?!!!
Okay, wait! Before anyone of you gets hurt. Let me reiterate. They're so far away from the Philippines. They're at the UK's Windsor Palace.
Yes, they'll be tying their knots on April 29, 2011. And the world will be the witness of this royal wedding dubbed as "The Wedding of the Century".
Those who are well-off will be the lucky witnesses as the ceremony starts on that red-letter day.
Philippine media is so interested that it will be covered by a leading network live from where the action will take place: Westminster Abbey, London
The life of a prince
Prince William of Wales, the brother of Prince Harry and the eldest son of Princess Diana (Princess of Wales) & Prince Phillip (Duke of Edinburgh) (the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II).
That's what ordinary people know. I cannot memorize all the titles given to them. If not for his deceased mother, Diana, the palace will be a closed topic among commoners.
We can only see these royal people whenever there are important occasions that involve the United Kingdom of Great Britain and its independent states or affiliates, especially in Canada, some countries in Africa and the far south of Australia.
As for Prince William, his life is always guarded by personal assistants, scribes from the palace, bodyguards and all. He's one of a lucky man, no doubt about that. If I'm given a week to live like him, I'll trade 7 days of my life and experience what is like to be a prince.
Reality check! It can never be. I'm just a commoner from an archipelago which is full of poor people. Just a wishful thinking; maybe I can shake his hands up close and know some of his deepest thoughts regarding his duties as prince and roles he assume every day.
With the media at bay to watch his every move, his childhood, school days, manhood and his present engagement with Kate, who wouldn't like to be in his shoes.
His being a prince is not all glory. He must accomplish military trainings, immerse with ordinary people and work his way to graduate in college. HE had to excel in everything he do to serve as model to his fellow men.
A commoner to wed a prince
Kate Middleton, what a very lucky girl! Is it really fate that Kate and William will meet in the same school where they graduated?
Belonging in a middle class family, her family rises to the elite circle of well-off families in UK through hard work. That's why she was able to pursue her college career at a prestigious academy in UK.
True love never knows life's status. If it will be permitted to merge as one, there will be a very happy marriage among two lovers.
Kate is a very unassuming lady. Her moves are often controlled, a sophisticated lady in the making.
With her being a sport-minded person, like Prince William; the two hit it off naturally.
Kate is a woman who knows how to deal with ordinary people. This will be plus factor once she assume the role of a wife and future princess of the royal family.

What's interesting about William and Kate's love story is that it started unassumingly.
Although under the watchful eyes of media, the couple is not a showoff regarding their feelings with each other. As if, theirs is just like the other couples' stories of lovers who are deeply in love with each other.
They have their own circle of friends. What will be the hot topic among men? Of course, it's about girls. And for the girls, it's the same; no bragging rights intended.
There's no loud fanfare or literally a commotion regarding the announcement of their official engagement. There's no protest going on or the outcry of third parties.
All their friends are all thumbs up with the relationship they've weaved that will start in a fruitful marriage.

What the look alikes did!
The jesters of the palace, that's what we often call these comedians. What will be the court like if there are no one to liven up a very serious engagement.
All the characters were quietly represented, from the Queen and husband down to Prince William and Kate.
Life is movie-personified, so they say. Although, some exaggeration were made from the wedding entrance and to the actuation of the each living character in the UK's monarchy, it is sill a very lively and memorable affair.
An advance screening, err presentation was made by these English jesters and God knows what happened.
