Irresistible Impulse (of my own)

I hate to tell you....

Get out of Jail Free Card!

Many years ago about the time I hit forty my husband left me for about 90 days for a "sweet young thang"..

We had a restaurant and I would work when he wasn't there(during the 90 days).

A gentleman I knew rather well, in fact it was the brother to "the sweet young thang" came in to the restaurant for a to go order,I had to wait on him though if someone else had been available I would not have done so,because if I think it, it shoots right out of my mouth..LOL

"Mr.to go" kept saying wow you look familiar don't I know you..just wouldn't back off though I was kinda non-committal,he pressed on..finally he said hey you are my sisters good friend aren't ya! To which I had a" lorena Bobbitt" moment(irresistible impulse) and replied "we were very close but she borrowed something of mine ,and never did return it." He said tell me what it is I'll see you get it back. I couldn't help myself, I said no, she can just keep it now it was my husband,he dropped his order on the floor in shock and almost ran from the restaurant.

It didn't take my husband as long to return home as it did for him to leave..So I gave him his one and only get out of jail free card.

So the hubby had his fling, then the lightbulb went off, telling him he had a gem at home. Kudos for being the forgiver. (many wouldn't)

Good one jorja, I forgave mine over infidelity but regretted it, once trust is gone it is gone forever. I have myself a much better hubby now.
