   I took a girl to a Japanese steakhouse on a blind date as a favor to a friend and she ended up getting on MySpace on her phone as I was talking to her and trying to get to her know her and I told her to put it up an then we went to go see a movie which was decent. Never talked to her again and cursed at my friend.

   I liked this dude called Joe, and he seemed to like me........we ran in the same crowd and there was no real pressure to impress.  We were sorta, kinda buddies.
   
   He calls one night and asks if I  would like to have dinner with him, and I say yes.  He comes by, picks me up and enroute, asks me if I have $20 bucks he can borrow to pay for dinner!
   
   Even way back then, I would have cooked the man something to eat!  I thought it was a casual and impromptu date~~
   
   Thanks for taking me back, all these years later, I remember him fondly.

   It was actually funny, I took this attractive girl out to dinner and she got up to use the ladies room and when she returned everyone was turning around looking at her and I could not figure out why, some were pointing and giggling. so when she was ready to sit back down I noticed that the back of her dress was stuck in her panty hose and her whole a$$ was sticking out. I was very nice and told her and she was mortified! She did not want to leave until everyone was gone and we sat there for like an extra hour. she was really sweet, very cute and I did like her but she never returned my few phone calls. I happen to see her a few years later in a mall and had to ask her why she did not return my calls and she said she was embarrassed and wanted to call me a few weeks later put felt stupid. I was dating someone seriously so I never asked for another date. I really liked her it was a shame.

   Well, this is not really so terrible, but.... this friend of a friend asked me on a date and I went. It was the most boring date ever and I felt completely incompatible with him because he kept talking about all the literary classics he was reading and he took me to this cafe which he said was 'cosmopolitan and sophisticated' (which it was, but I felt out of place in the cafe once he said that because I don't think of myself as either one).  He just didn't seem like the kind of guy you could really just talk with and feel comfortable with.
   
   So, it didn't work out, but later I found out through the mututal friend that this guy wasn't actually all super-highbrow, it turned out he was just trying to impress me!! (If he'd just been himself it might have worked out!!)

   it was when a boy asked me out and i had just recovered from malaria and  he had a good plan actually(according to him). he took me out for a long walk followed by mexican dinner. this could have been great if the doctor had not recommended me proper rest and no spicy food
   i was exhausted and sick by the end of he day!
