   EVERYONE these days has a harsh and demanding schedule.  We ALL have to make time for our children, our families and even ourselves.
   
   Since it's so important in a relationship, you NEED to sit down with each other and talk about it.  Brainstorm together on how you can get more time together without sacrificing all the other balls in the air.  Communication is key!

   I do the same exact thing with my significant other we have one baby he is four months old i work most of the time he works almost every night and now he is about to start school again this coming monday. It is possible. I believe everybody makes time for what they want and have to do. You already stay up late most likely so what an hour more for some couple time!! Me and my hubby stay up just to talk! and on my days off and he has a morning off I pre plan it to where i have most of the work done for the next day to where we have a day together. you can hire a babysitter for the night or a couple hours or have a family member who is willing do it for free. Where there is a will there is a way. I know exactly what you are talking about and going through because i do it now. So trust me it's possible

   The answer is pretty simple, you just have to do it.  It doesnt matter what gets in the way or what else is going on. The primary relationship should come first if it is going to last. We all get tired, we all get selfish, we all tend to put our spouses on the back burner because they aren't sounding the alarm and we get comfortable thinking they will be there when we get back to them.  Thats not always the case.  People drift apart, things can and do change.  Its up to us to keep things going rather than to try to resurrect something later.  It isnt easy, but its worth the effort. (and it doesnt have to cost a fortune)
