    Is burning bridges with people ever worth it?

    There are some relationships I've regrettably severed in the past and never fixed. What is your take?

    Yes! Sometimes it's in your best interest to avoid "toxic people".
    Life is short! Why would anyone want to spend time with people they don't like or don't get along with? Ideally you want to make sure a situation has risen to the "deal breaker" stage before cutting your losses. We normally only regret when we believe we are in the wrong. If that's the case then make an apology. The ball is then placed in their court to decide if they want to stay in contact.

    As dashingscropio has stated, "Life is too short." There are relationships that are like a cancer. Each day a little of you whittles away. There are and may be in the future times when you need to walk away. Trust your gut. Take a good look of the fruit of the relationship, and you will know which ones to hold on to and which ones to walk away. Life really is too short for misery.
