    Why people like interracial dating?

I found that it doesn't matter what color my lover is, so long as they respect me as a woman and a person.  Do you disagree with me?  At 1st, I was scared because I didn't know how other people reacted when being seen as an interracial couple.  But now I don't care.

Aside from my point of view, maybe some can't find someone in their own race to connect with, people have an attraction due to stereotypes, or they just want to piss off their parents.  There are several reasons, and I can't think of any other ones.

Why should race come into it at all? We are first and foremost human beings equal in the eyes of God. We should celebrate where we each come from but we shouldn't segregate ourselves from others on the grounds of race where relationships of any kind are concerned.

why SHOULDN'T people like interracial dating??
people are people, and you like who you like.
think about it, if you were blind or something skin-color and looks wouldn't even matter at all, would it?
so why should it matter now? it shouldn't.
everyone is equal, i thought Martin Luther King Jr. already gave that speech??? move on, please.

Why do you ask?  In asking yourself that question you will most likely find the answer you are looking for...

Everyone has different tastes, some people might be naturally phyisically attracted to people of a certain nationality - ie: just like some guys prefer brunette's over blonde's etc.  Each person would have their own reasons for interracial dating, there could be a fascination with another culture, their customs or religion, or an attraction to their skin colour, eye shape, voice (sexy foreign accent) or other physical aspects, or it could just  be that two people just fall in love and all of those things never mattered.

Race should never matter when it comes to a relationship as far as I am concerned. God created all of us equally. It makes me very sad when I hear people talking negatively about interracial relationships. People talk about wanting equality but then they want to keep relationships within their own races. We are all mutts!  It is rare that you will find any person who does not have some kind of mixed blood in them anyway. We are really only one race. The human race!

race shouldn't matter. if you love someone you love them for who they are not for what they look like. some people date other races just to see how it is to date outside of their race. we as people can learn about different customs and cultures when we are open to everyone especially when it comes to love.

Love knows no color or race..i feel it doesnt matter what race you are if youre lucky enough to find someone who loves you for you then thats all there should be.regardless of race.

Opposites attract ... isn't that what they say? So it certainly makes sense that interracial dating is becoming more and more popular. Not to mention the beautiful children that are produced by mixing races. I should know, I'm a caucasian woman who is head over heels in love with an African American man and we have a beautiful 10 week old son!

It's interesting though how we often get friendly smiles from people ... and then of course dirty looks. Racism is very much alive, unfortunately.

I've never dated my own race but about once. I'm puerto rican and african american and my fiance is Cherokee indian and german. For me i grew up in a lot of homes and moved around the place all the time. I don't really connect too much with my race they always tell me that i'm a white guy trapped in a black guys body but that's me. I don't like ignorance and where i came from there was a lot of that from all races. It all boils down to how you connect with that person physically and emotionally. When you find that right one you'll know. Just look at my beautiful daughter in the picture. The biggest blessing i've had in my life.

beneath the skin colour and eye shape there is a person.  it is the person who we fall in love with.

interracial dating may be more prolific in recent times due to migration, ease of international transport and cyberspace relationships.

if you look back in time interracial relations have always been around though not always consensual.  how many masters o the house got their slaves pregnant?

. Ive just always found people of a diff race to be super sexy and honestly most of the white guys Ive ever dated and talked to seem to have always treated me better then those of my own race. I just think interracial dating is fun. people should get over the color block
