Think about this for a minute, tell me if you think I'm wrong. Being a victim of circumstance simply means paying consequences for ones actions.. but think about this for a second. in the view point of a person who does something that they know is going to affect them negatively. take smoking for instance. a person smokes for a long time, knowing full well that smoking is going to negatively affect his body. they start breathing erradically or not being able to take the stairs or come down with some sort of cancer, or have a heart attack or stroke, wouldn't you say that person is a victim of his circumstance, caused by his own actions?
It doesnt apply to everything. what about the economic situation this country is faced with right this very minute. A good hard working person is out of a job because circumstances put them there. They may have a bachelors degree or better or maybe no degree at all. Is that being a victim of their circumstance? It's not entirely their fault. It is a difficult question to answer.
Being a sheep and following the crowd.. thats a difficult choice if you think following the crowd is going to turn out badly and you chose to be a goat. but then again maybe you are wrong. You cant win.. lol
