   What do you look for in a person as a romantic partner?
   
   Not things like trust and communication....things beyond the standard ones. Like intelligence or enjoys the same activities as me or is introverted etc.

   After trust and communication I like...Someone who is very easy-going, calm in difficult situations, someone who makes me smile when I think about them, and makes me want to kiss them when I am around them (attraction), and thoughtfulness.

   Well, the first thing I ave to say is they have got to have good common sense and deep.  By deep I mean no superficial hang ups or close mindedness.  She has to enjoy and participate in many interests (other than shopping).  She has to be willing to learn from me as much as I am willing to learn from her.  She has to be loving and gentle, no temper fits or drama queen episodes.  I need solitude, so I want her to enjoy solitude also.  The dog has to come first, before me.  She does not have to be a clean freak either, just willing to pick up after herself.
   
   This is a great question, I had a lot of fun answering it.  Thank you for that.

   Chemistry... When you never run out of things to talk about, and you have a strong attraction to them.... The best friend and partner. Depends on your personality type as well. Like i'm attracted when I'm challenged mentally, by humor or new perspectives..

   Someone that gives great massages and foot rubs...
   Someone that isn't afraid to express their feelings openly...
   Someone who isn't afraid to cry at chick flicks...
   Someone who will drink Pina Coladas instead of beer if that's what they have a taste for...
   Someone who isn't afraid to look me in the eye when he speaks...and
   Someone who will walk barefoot on the beach with me because it's my favorite past time, even when he hates getting sand in his toes.

    For romantic's sake I would go physical appearance and her sense of humor. But I would also consider intelligence and kindness.
