Who does the majority of cooking in your household, you or your significant other?

Many cultures or families have well defined roles of 'who belongs' in the kitchen...what is your experience? Do you cook and your partner stays out of your domain or vice versa?

Thanks! :) I hear you-my late husband was Italian and he was a wonderful cook! My kids and I learned a few recipes from him that were his favorites.

Totally with you on that one. I've really come to enjoy cooking these past ten years. Much different when I was first married with young kids AND when I was remarried but working full time.

That's interesting...maybe he isn't confident in the kitchen? Thanks for commenting.

Nice answer. I agree. I was contemplating this as I stood over the stove today making a slow, homemade chicken noodle soup while the guys in the household worked on the yard.

What a great deal...oh, I can relate to the impulse buying. I try not to, but I partially stick to a list and then buy a few more things... :)

Hi Linda-thanks for stopping by to answer the question. I think traditionally the woman has been the family cook...although a couple answers here surprised me. Take care.
