   What are somethings you can do while you are single?
   
   As a single guy I have a lot of time on my hands, what are somethings that I can do?

   1.  Volunteer.  There are many sites online that match up volunteers with organizations that need them, and many ways you can help out even from home.
   
   2.  Take a class.  Check your local high school or community center for classes offered.
   
   3.  Join a travel group for single people.
   
   4.  Write a book.
   
   5.  Join a gym.
   
   6.  Try a fulfilling hobby, like carpentry and woodworking, restoring cars, playing the guitar, making miniatures, sculpting, painting, or photography.  If you don't know how to do any of these, see #2.

   Read books that inspire you and bring you closer to God. Meditation is also very good it calms and relaxes you. You will learn a lot about yourself in this process.

   Take up that hobby or interest, or study course you've been putting off.  That way you will mix with new people, and it's a great way to meet other singles. It can form the basis of a new relationship, as you already have a common ground interest.  It may be just that you take up tennis classes, a photography course, Salsa lessons, or study a language - whatever you find interesting.

   Everything!
   Seriously there are very few things where you have to have a mate in order to participate or enjoy something. Even while married if my wife is not interested in going to see a movie I am fine going alone.
   When I was single I did whatever I pleased (hang out with friends, go for walks along the beach, see movies, listen to live music in the park, shop, read books in the book store, go to restaurants, hit nightclubs, connect with other singles online, work out at the gym. In fact I had better luck meeting women when I was by myself instead of being with my friends.
   My point is you don't have to be in a relationship to live your life! I've known people that have gone on vacations alone. Oddly enough I have seen more women on cruise vacations alone (without a man or girlfriends). If you love yourself and enjoy your own company as well as maintain a sense of adventure about life odds are you will attract friends wherever you go. Don't let being single/free keep you from doing whatever you want to do! One man's opinion! :-)
