Are there any good friendships on hubpages?
I have noticed already a supportive community, can you tell me more cuz I have just recently joined
Welcome to HubPages, Miscellanea. There are. Some hubbers will do more than read and comment; they will point out errors and make suggestions. I try to be that kind of friend too. I have become close friends with a hubber who sends me short, encouraging, personal notes and inspirational material in emails. I really look forward to those emails and I thoroughly appreciate the friendship. Hope you make some good friends here!
Yes that's what I hope too and thx for answering and I have really noticed that
I have not been on here that long and I can see people are very kind and helpful. I had a question maybe a week ago that I really needed help with and there was a woman that answered my question and really cared and gave me great advice. I would say I can see that it is very possible to have good friendships on here
yes I think so also thank you so much you're sweet
For me I was just looking for encouragement and it helped boost my self confidence. I feel myself on here when in real life it can be discouraging.
You could make a lot of friends here.It is a good website but be careful those people could be fake.Sorry if I offended anyone here or disappointed you.I am talking from my personal experience here and in other websites.Don t give personal information to anyone unless you know that person for long.Keep the hedge between and let the friendship with hubbers focuses on the way how to improve your hubs and be good writers..I mean leave it on the intellectual level.. If you want to meet genuine people. If you feel lonely, I suggest you do something about otherwise you'll end up becoming somewhat depressed. I wouldn't rely on websites. Its best if you go out and explore the world and you'll come across many wonderful people. Life only becomes boring if you have nothing going on in it or you just don't have fun. Go out and make contacts, that way you'll become more sociable and people will want to get to know you. Why sit behind the computer and find friends on the Internet? You'll only become socially awkward. So my advice for you is to go out and widen your friendship circle. Eventually you won't feel lonely and you'll have good friends whom you will trust. Don't rely on websites. It's not safe and you don't know who you're talking to. It could be anyone. Be cautious if you do. However, I wouldn't suggest that you do though. Get involved by doing different things. The world is your oyster. So have fun, live life and love .
Thank you so much for such a very long answer; yes it's true what you said and I won't trust all people, but I ment friendship in terms of helping each other to make better things
I have to agree with you for the most part. I think that you have to have friends outside the internet. I have been burned by friends on the internet..fake profiles etc. I do agree that you shouldn't give out personal information.
Yes , people here are nice and try to help each other. I posted a question about my hubs not being showcased and was answered very quickly by 2 very nice hubbers.the answers were very helpful too.i believe friendships can be formed here if kept on a professional level and exclude the matters of the heart. As volatile as internet friendships are ,you should keep your guard as Transparency is difficult to detect.I've read horrible stories in internet romances. Don't compromise yourself to be a victim.

At what point would you graduate an acquaintance to a friend; when would you consider someone to have truly earned your friendship trust? When would you say wholeheartedly that someone is your truly tested and trusted friend? Who would you call your friend eventually? Does a friend in Need...

I don't have a clear answer to this question. I once had a friend I grew up with, 2 yrs before high school we lost contact with each other. Fast forward to 2010 I contacted her through Myspace and certainly was surprised she had an account. SO we messaged back and forth and then the messages stop...
