That is so true. Either we become old or die young. Which one would YOU choose to do?

AMEN to that! What is age really? If one did not know one's age, how would he/she act and/or perceive himself/herself to be?

This comment is directed to all 9 of you that tried to answer my question - thank you - some great advice from all of you. But, I just don't want to be 80, which will occur one month from tomorrow. What is so great about "young?"
I don't look at life that as old because age is just a number I have seen 90 year old individual active and still working their hardest and in good health condition how you feel is the best not what you think young is just about figuring life out
What's great about being young is that you try to do the right things and be active at 80. Turn your attention to 90 instead of 18. 90 is possible for you. 18 is not. Move on and enjoy.

RBJ33- I'm not sure what you expect of life at age 80, but it may be a little much. You do more now than I ever did. I'm not preaching but extensively, study the word "gratitude". Don't miss this age while searching for one that is gone.
