      good answer biz..I agree with this one wholeheartedly way back when my husband went through vague answers during  an argument like maybe ,it would drive me crazy.thanks for answering.

    Any word that is perfect in application......such as "always".........unless it's used literally and accurately.

      I was going to say "always" too. It's a dirty fighting technique. There's nothing more frustrating than someone over-generalizing your behaviour which they clearly dislike.

    The one word to avoid in an argument is stating that someone is clueless.  That word sets some people off.  They are trying to see, even understand and be totally sympathetic to their partners' viewpoint.  However, their partner simply refuses to acknowledge their perspective and the first word that escalates the argument even further is remarking that they are.........clueless.

      good answer. I had other words  pop in my head..Can't and Won't. .if you say you cant or won't do something your not keeping an open mind
