What are your deal-breakers in relationships?

When you do say, "Enough is enough! I'm done with it!"?  What does it take for you to end a relationship and walk away?

When too much of negativity engulfs the relationship, owing to your partner's insecurity. It is better to move on that time. It works for the best. It really does smile

Although I am happily married, I have enough friends and family whom I have observed in rotten relationships.
That being said, in my opinion, the greatest deal breaker is loss of respect.

My daughter just found out her boyfriend of 2 years is on every single dating site, and she discovered multiple texts and emails on his laptop and cell phone from numerous women.
She is heartbroken, but, at the same time, she has zero respect.  All this on the heels of other major red flags along the way.  When she confronted him, he made it her fault...when she got home he texted her, "Good bye b....go f... yourself."  Now he is texting her and wanting to 'start over.'  To me this is a great example of enough is enough and walking away.

Well now Sparklea.....looks like your daughter caught a break, discovering what a wonderful man he is not.  It only hurts for a little while.  Then it just keeps on getting better!  Good luck to her!

Paula, thank you so much!  She has been having a rough time but she is SO done with him!  It is hard for a mom to see her daughter go through this. I know how she feels.  I lost my husband to another woman, but am happy now with my current husband.

Really I say, "I have had it up to here and out to there!"  But lieing is what will cause me to walk away and end a relationship.  Granted it hurts, but the lie hurt worst, and breaks the trust bond.

I think the deal breaker is crying more than laughing.  Every relationship has its ups and downs, but if there is more crying than laughing on a regular basis, it is time to get out.  Ideally, a relationship should bring out the best in you.  If you find it only brings out the worst, that is when it is over.

Some of the most obvious ones are cheating and lying. If you can't trust someone clearly it's not worth the time and emotion to invest.
Reaching the conclusion that you don't share the same values or want the same things for the relationship is also means it's time to move on.
Being mistreated, disrespected, taken for granted, neglected, feeling used or taken advantage of and the complete absence of fun, romance, and passion are all things that could cause me to walk.
If I'm not happy I don't stay. Life is too short!
In order for her to be "the one" she would have to see me as being "the one". At the very least a (soul-mate) involves two with {mutual} adulation!
