Do you think there comes a time when you are too old to walk down the aisle in a white bridal dress?

I'm referring to a woman that hasn't been married before so this would be a full blown church wedding. Just wondered if anyone thought there comes a time when getting married with all the works is just not the thing to do. By all the works, I mean: the white dress; the flowing wedding veil; the train; the bridesmaids and such.

I suppose it's the ideal that white is more the traditional colour, but you're right, especially these days. It should be idividual preference.

I'm also like that; practical, but I've too enjoyed big weddings.

This is certainly a strong view point and I like it.

It's good that everyone here is supportive of the bride wearing what she likes.
