Outdoor weddings can be great but always have a backup plan in case mother nature decides not to cooperate. My wife and I had our wedding outside and all went fantastic. I'd done my homework and picked a day that, historically, had the best weather of the year. In my neck of the woods that day was Sept. 15. It had only stormed on that day 4 times in the last 50 years. My ex-wife and her new husband planned their wedding for the middle of June so, of course, it snowed on them. Thankfully they had a contingency plan to use one of the rooms at our local convention center. After a bit of juggling they managed to have their ceremony indoors and all went well. So, do your homework, figure what to do in a worse case scenario, and go from there. Sorry it took two years for you to get an answer, though. Good luck!
