Below is a story told by one of my facebook friends, Sara L'étrange

"I had a friend whose parents were that way, when his Alzheimer's got bad and they ended up in 2 different hospitals the nurses found him outside in pyjamas, he was waiting for a taxi he hadn't called, saying "I have to find Edie" They got them into the same hospital with rooms next to each other and he spent his last few days sneaking into her room to sing to her every time he woke up with no mind to the time. There was not a single photo of them together where he did not have her hand- beautiful love. "
