      I got married in the courthouse but am currently planning a proper wedding - I live in USA but am getting married is SA.

   I'm getting married tomorrow, and will be having a ceremony later this year...that said, I don't suppose I'm really the typical bride. It seems like everyone wants the moderate-to-large wedding with the big cake and the white dress and everything else, but when we do the ceremony we're planning on having it in the back yard with a barbecue reception, and I've told him that if he wants to spend a lot of money on us he can do so on the marriage...like in the form of a down payment on a house or something...rather than on the wedding itself.

      :  :  :  Think about all the time (weeks and months) they spent getting ready for the wedding and the amount of time they have after the wedding to get ready for each day...ummmm.
