I have been researching hugging, something in our society we are doing less and less of(Australia) it seems we need to hug at least 3 times a day to keep our body healthy? what are your thoughts see my hub on this
Hugs are great, and a natural thing... but as much as I am craving hugs each night before bed, and each morning, I have a partner who I am away from right now... not so sure that she would be happy about me actively seeking my 3 hugs a day.
Hugs also lead to a progression through various other pleasurable things, kisses normally come next.... etc etc... I don't think that my girlfriend would have too much of an issue with no-strings hugs. But those next steps make my 3 hugs a day unfeasible at current.
Perhaps your study could determine whether hugging a duvet or a teddy bear, or even those Japanese arm pillows, is an effective substitute....
