Now, don't get me wrong ladies and gentlemen. I'm not against alimony by any stretch of the imagination. However, should it really be for the rest of the guy's life? i know many of you ladies will get mad at me for saying this. however, my uncle is still paying his wife alimony even though she's working a full time job and their kids are out of the house living on their own, yet he still pays her alimony even though he's struggling financially. therefore, i would like to ask all of you how long should a man pay alimony?
I'm not sure we even have alimony here - the most we have is child support (based on wages of person paying it, up till child is 18.) In fact if my husband and I split I would think it rude to ask him to pay for my life - our child, yes. Me, to sit on my ass? No.

I just read that a great hub should be between 400 to 1200 words. Does that apply to poems also? I searched to find if this question had been already asked and found nothing.
