i had been sober seven years until my best friend committed suicide. then i fell apart, starting in on his champage in his blood-stained house. we'd had a great 10-year run without many problems - until the very end. i wonder now if i had been more tolerant if things would be different.
sorry to hear.. sometimes wondering causes it's own pain.
your friend is at peace now.
I'm understand that the death of a friend is harsh and painful, but do you need to have a drinking problem to? You need support not a bottle. Find some friends that can support you. Stop blaming yourself, your friend is responsible for that choice not you.
