I am a strong believer in how the moon cycles connects to the womans menstrual cycles. I love knowing about the triple goddess, maiden, mother and crone. I will be putting together a womans group about worshipping yourself as a godess and celebrating your womanhood. Its going to be like a red tent but more of a womans circle. I feel that woman are to be honored especially around their moontime and not only should others honor us but we should be honoring ourselves as woman. Has any woman ever attended a womans circle or red tent?
I am glad that you all like my thread and agree that woman should be honored. My group is going to consist of eight women and they will start by filling out a questionaire about their feelings and symptoms about their moontime and their experience , then we will sit together in a group and I will have them intro themselves and I will explain about the moon cycles and triple goddess and honoring your womanhood. I will read a poem and then we will dispurse into gruops of four and I will ask the woman to color a already draw yoni (vagina) and they can draw anything they want in it like the tree of life, the moon phases..ect but they also all have to come up with their own goddess name and write in on their creation. The yoni is the sacred part of the woman. I hope some dont get squimish its optional to do. Then we will all come back to the circle and show our art and tell our goddess name and we will go over the questionaire and then we will disperse again and do another creation where we will create our own bandana and they will make four personal symbols about who they are as a woman. Then we will come back to circle and show it, they can take those home but before they leave they will all recieve a moonstone. And each month we will do different things to honor ourselves as women like..yoga, tea party..ect
This is a cool idea and I support this. I will follow this thread. There should be more articles and threads that honor us ladies and women everywhere. We have much to offer and it is a great idea, Winter. Well done! Viva la Femme!
