      Hahaha yea I don't think anyone is talking about beds here. I like bottom much better, for some reason I have never enjoyed top though lots of women seem to. Guess I am just different.

   Top - more privacy; bad if you're afraid of heights; hassle of climbing up and down
   
   Bottom - better if you're afraid of heights; less privacy; visitors tend to sit on your bed because it's more convenient; less of a hassle of getting on and off bed

    ....for some reason, this thread disturbs me.
    
    If I had to pick, I'd go with the floor.  Pee runs downhill, and gas flows up.  If you're on the floor, you can escape both quickly. 
    
    ...now I'm even more disturbed than I already was.

    When I was younger, meaning under 35, I used to like being on top. Now that I'm over 35 I prefer the bottom.

    Just had to get in on the fun hehehe....If we're talking bunkbeds, the bottom is more fun because you can drape a blanket over the bottom and have all kinds of fun in there
    
    If bunkbeds are not exactly the true meaning, as in metaphor or other, I choose bottom in both instances. And if there's someone using the Top "bunk" then i need them to make up their mind and choose that. No switching
