Do you think guilt can out-weigh incredible gains after betrayal?

If you gained money, say over 1 billion dollars in profit by betraying someone close to you. Mentally, do you think guilt would stop you from being able to enjoy it at any time in your life.

      Of course it would.

doesn't it depend on individual's conscience?

I think so. It depends on your mental ability to live with yourself.

I've known people that have done horrible things to others because they wanted what they had. They took it, ruined lives, and they tell themselves, they were the victims. Literally.
