How To Kiss A Girl For The First Time
Kissing a girl for the first time, whether it's your first kiss or just the first time you're kissing a new girl or girlfriend is an exciting prospect for most guys!
However, chances are that if your first kiss does not go well at all that it will be the first and last time you kiss that girl. You see, many if not most girls decide right after their first kiss whether they will ever kiss the same guy again in the future.
For many guys kissing a girl or getting to "first base" is often just a step towards getting more intimate with a girl. Girls on the other hand often often judge a guy by the way the kisses in deciding whether he will be a good partner.
Your first kiss does not have to be perfect from a physical point of view. If she has had other boyfriends in the past you don't need to kiss her like she has never been kissed before! It does not have to be a long and passionate kiss either. What is important though is that it has to be a positive and memorable experience for her, not one she would rather forget.
Before we look at some specific kissing tips here is a video that illustrates some common do's and don'ts of kissing a girl.
Kissing Tips On How To Kiss A Girl For The First Time
Here are some specific kissing tips on how to kiss a girl for the first time. Although there is no substitute for experience the following tips should put you on the right track.
1. Girls are romantic at heart.
Try to make kissing her for the first time a special event. Buy her flowers or if you are short of money try to pick some flowers for her in a field or give her flowers from your garden.
Make sure to compliment her! Tell her she looks beautiful!
Act like a gentleman. Open the car door for her, pull out her chair for her if you go to a restaurant and let her walk through a door first. Be kind and considerate and she will love you for it.
2. Set the mood.
Choose a nice environment for your first kiss. Don't kiss her in a public place, if possible. You want her to be at ease and kissing her for the first time with her friends, your friends or complete strangers staring at you is not a good idea.
You want to have her full attention just before kissing her and also while you're busy kissing her. If it's at your house put on some nice background music, dim the lights and create a nice environment that will set the mood for kissing her.
It's normal that you may be nervous before kissing her for the first time. But, do your best to relax. If you appear nervous or anxious you may send her the wrong body signals and create the impression that you're not comfortable being with her.
4. Make sure she is ready to kiss you.
Even if she enjoys your company and going out with you it does not necessarily mean she wants to kiss you or be in a relationship with you. She may just see you as a good friend!
And, even if she wants to be more than just friends it does not mean she is ready or willing to kiss you when you are. So, before kissing her for the first time you have to be sure she wants to kiss you as well.
5. Break the touch barrier.
It's much more difficult to kiss a girl for the first time that you have not even touched. If she is not willing to hold your hand or seems reluctant to do so it's a clear sign that she will more than likely not be willing to kiss you.
Try touching her a couple of times while talking to her such as briefly and casually touching her hand or arm while saying something and notice how she reacts. Does she feel comfortable being touched or does she pull away?
6. Lean in for the kiss.
When you feel the moment is right, look into her eyes or at her lips and lean forward to kiss her. Tilt your head slightly to the left or the right to avoid bumping noses and close your eyes just before your lips touch her lips.
Just give her a soft and gentle kiss on the mouth. Pull back for a second and if you feel like it and it seems as if she enjoyed it lean forward and kiss her again.
7. Deepening the kiss. (Optional)
Your first kiss does not have to be anything more than described above. However, if you want to you can deepen the kiss by gently nudging her lips with the tip of your tongue. Wait for her to open her lips slightly and use the front part of your tongue to caress her lips and tongue.
Don't just stick your tongue into her mouth and be careful not to push your tongue too deep into her mouth. You don't want to gag her!
As mentioned above, your first kiss does not have to be a passionate French kiss with a lot of tongue kissing and it does not have to be a long make-out session either. If you want more information on how to French kiss and how to make out, see how to kiss.
Kissing Do's And Don'ts
Here are some common kissing do's and don'ts that you need to be aware of when kissing someone, especially if it's your first kiss.
1. Fresh breath.
Make sure your breath smells french! Taking her to a nice restaurant may be very romantic but kissing her after you have been eating garlic is not cool!
If you don't have the opportunity to brush your teeth before kissing her at least suck a mint or chew some gum to freshen your breathe before kissing her.
2. Don't grope her!
Girls do not like to be groped, especially not while kissing a guy for the first time!
Use your hands to hold her or to touch her face or hair and not to grope her.
3. Don't ask for permission.
Girls like confident guys. Don't ask her if you may kiss her! If you feel like kissing her and the moment seems right just do it!
4. Don't see how far you can get.
Kissing someone special for the first time should be a pleasant experience for both of you. The fact that she may be ready and willing to kiss you does not mean she wants to do anything more than just kissing. Don't try to see how far you can push her! Just enjoy kissing her!
If you follow the above kissing tips and advice on how to kiss a girl for the first time your first kiss should be great, special and memorable.
