Predicting The Future

Who asks about the Future?

Is it one who fears that

Time and circumstance will go wrong?

Who predicts the future?

Could it set the world into calamity?

Should we know what to do,

Should we know when,

Should we understand how?

Setting goals may bring us

Hope for times to come.

We want the joy of our

Aspiration

When all is uncertain and

Unplanned.

Nobody anticipated

Hurricanes

Would cause devastating

Homelessness.

Nobody wanted in the

Gulf

An oil spill.

Nobody expected airplanes

to purposely crash into buildings.

As we move and travel

Through a Lifetime,

Let our hearts and

Minds be directed toward

God's New Paradise.

Let there be a constant

Drive to Move forward,

And a constant move

Upward.

Be humble to the lowly,

Encourage the

Brokenhearted.

Focus on what is

Best for those

Children.

If we

Join in one

Spirit and aim

For the Truth,

If we Forgive,

Love,

Retreat

And Protect,

If We Discuss

And Project

Each other to

BELIEVE in

The UNSEEN,

We will achieve in the right

Mind and spirit

What we hope for.

Then the Future isn't

AS SCARY after all.

HEBREWS 11,verse 1 says:

"Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for,

the evidence of things not seen."

MATTHEW 17,verse 20 says:

"And Jesus said unto them,

'Because of your unbelief for verily I say unto you,

If ye have faith as a mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain,

Remove hence to yonder place and it shall move and nothing shall be impossible unto you.'"

In the first letter to the Thessalonians, chapter 2, in the 19th verse, St Paul writes:

"SO WHAT IS OUR HOPE, OUR JOY, OR THE CROWN IN WHICH WE WILL GLORY IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR LORD JESUS WHEN HE COMES? IS IT YOU?"

I have not been on line for some time but I really enjoyed this hub. Voted Up! I just got through writing a hub on our trials and used the Beatitudes as a guideline concerning the meek who shall inherit the Earth and decided to view some hubs before getting some rest and was sure blessed by this one.

Do not be decieved God will not be mocked. He has told us the future. He owns it all. He is the King of Kings.

Thank you for a heartfelt writing and reminder of whose we are. In Christ, Love Skye

So true, so much fear, worry, stress and angst could be relieved if we simply placed our surest hope in heaven and greatest satisfaction to imitate Christ.
