Strange Days Have Found Us...

Here are a few more UFO events that occurred when my proposed "Day Cycle A" was peaking. This time we are looking at the period of July 15 to August 13...

On July 15, 2005, two days before the birthday of the witness who filed the report, he and two other males, one a close friend, drove in the friends truck to camp outdoors, 2-4 miles outside of Nederland, Colorado (near Boulder). Since they made their decision to camp late in the day, by the time they arrived it was dark. With some difficulty they set up camp and then ate and talked around the campfire into the early morning hours of the next day. At approximately 3am they spotted a bright white and violet UFO that was too close for comfort. They were alarmed and then suddenly the UFO was gone, they felt tired and at least three hours was unaccounted for. If this story is to be believed, they were all likely abducted by the intruders. The source of this information was MUFON (report made online 8/28/2007). Peak of "Day Cycle A": 7/16 at 7:30am (Local Time)

The next day (7/16/2005) a couple were relaxing along the shore of Jubilee Lake in the Blue Mountains of Oregon when they both witnessed a UFO. A 70-80 foot long and 30 foot in diameter cylinder shaped object flew before them, 2,000 feet above the lake. Both the reporting witness and his wife saw the unknown metallic, and silent aerial object in a bright, mostly cloudless sky. No duration for the sighting was given, but the witness indicated that he was a research engineer with a DOE security clearance at a national laboratory. He also related that he served in the military under combat conditions in Vietnam and was trained in detecting and observing enemy forces. The source of this information was MUFON (report made online 12/26/2006). Peak of "Day Cycle A": 7/16 at 6:30am (Local Time)

Three weeks later at 1:54pm, GMT, on August 6, 2005, a black & white, low light camera in the Space Shuttle's payload bay, captured an orb of light moving in what appeared to be an intelligently controlled manner in the distance between it and the Pacific Ocean as the shuttle orbited over an area not far from Hawaii. It also performed an extreme maneuver at an apparently high rate of speed that would be unlikely to accomplished by a conventional aircraft (see the video below). Peak of "Day Cycle A": 8/7 at 12:15am, GMT

At 1:30pm the same day (of 8/6/2005 and 6h36m later) nine men were shark fishing in a boat that was 12 miles off the coasts of Newport Beach, California. At that time they spotted a brightly lit sphere that appeared to be 100 feet above the water and 3-5 miles away from them. It proceeded to move towards them, becoming so close that it alarmed many of the men. It then stopped and hovered for ten minutes. Following that it retreated in the same direction and speed that it had approached. Total time of the sighting was estimated to be 20 minutes. The source of this information was NUFORC (the report was filed online 8/9/2005). "Peak of Day Cycle A": 8/6 at 5:15pm (Local Time)

One week later, on August 13, at 5:11pm, GMT, an Air France pilot (flight 2569) witnessed a UFO cross paths with his jet at 30,000 feet. It apparently got as close as 15 meters from the jet that was flying 10 miles west of Gatwick airport, Sussex, England, at the time. During the ten seconds it took for it to be spotted and fly by on the left side of the jet, he apparently got a very good view of it. He described it as an approximately two meter long, cylindrical shaped object, that was yellow in color. He also defined it as "more like a drone" in shape and "not a meteorological ballon". He filed an air safety report on August 16 and a UFO report the next day. The source for this information is British Ministry of Defense (MOD) documents DEFE 24/2059. Peak of "Day Cycle A": 8/14 at 5:38am, GMT
