A Strange Orchard

His Blessing Flow Down

Source

What's the Meaning?

Last night I had a strange dream.

I was led into an orchard. Instead of fruit hanging onto the braches, there were all kinds of precious jewels and a beam of soft light encompassed me.

Then I was led to a picnic table. There were bowls overflowing with delicious fruit for my enjoyment.

What do you think this means?

If God were giving you a dream like that, what you think the jewels would represent?

For me I pray that the fruit is the fruit of a deeper spiritual manner rather than of material. It would be a blessing if the beam of light represented the Holy Spirit drawing me deeper into Gods presence.

What you desire the fruit to be: money, a lover, improved health?

My desire is for the Holy Word to be relished into my spirit so as to draw deeper understanding of God and His divine purpose for me.

Prayer: I ask my beloved Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) that You keep me centered on the unlimited spiritual riches You so graciously freely offer to all who seek them. I ask this in the name of Your most divine gift to us Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

teacherjoe52,

I found your dream quite interesting. This is what came to mind as I read it.

The jewel trees are emitting transcendental sublime light as you are surrounded with Buddhism or some other counterfeit knowledge.

Although the light is soft , desirable, and distracting, it is the counterfeit of the true light of Jesus Christ.

No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

In the midst of this, God is revealing some of the harvested fruit to you and it brings you much delight.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. – Psalm 23:5

Amongst the counterfeit trees, there are the genuine fruit trees that are heavy with "oranges" that are ripe for the picking.

Who is willing to go in the fields and pick the genuine fruit that is ready for the harvest?

Who is willing to go into orchard fields and become labourers to pick the fruit that is ready for the kingdom of God?

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. - Matthew 9:37

I hope that more and more will join you at the picnic table and the bowls will become more and more plentiful.

God Bless!

Hey, Joe! Good hub...voted up and interesting. I'm no dream interpreter but John 15:1-16 comes to my mind. Since you're in China, I'd say the fruit of your prayers as His ambassador (vs.16) are the folks for whom you pray to come to know Him. Just a guess. Keep steadfast!

A lovely dream indeed. Jewels: Proverbs 20:15 "There is gold and abundance of costly stones, but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel." Those jewels were beautiful but not as precious as a mouth filled with the knowledge and love of God.

Fruit: John 15:1-17 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. ... " The fruit is what happens when we are abiding in Jesus. Your love for God and Jesus radiates from your writing.

Light: John 8:12 “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” and Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Thank you for sharing your dream which led me to pause and recall what God has said.

Blessings Brother!

Thank you everyone for your insightful comments.

After listening to an online sermon today, here is what I think: It was like going down memory lane. God kept reminding me of the special times when I helped guide someone to Christ through my years here. Now they have grown into tree's that procude special fruit. Of course, we know the fruit is Jesus.

The fruit is God showing me all the fruit I have sown here.

The bowl and picnic table is my writing. It is not meant for me to eat but rather, being a partner with the Holy Spirit, the fruit represents sharing of Jesus' love for us through our writing together.

May the sunshine of Jesus' sweet love bless you all every day.

Hey, maybe that is what the light represents.
